With Digital Tomosynthesis (DTS) Roesys offers a completely new clinical application on the X Twin platform. With its innovative image reconstruction in combination with the proven image post-processing of the DXRS algorithms, the tomosynthesis examination protocol enables completely new views of clinical structures without disturbing overlaps. With this capability, the clinical application of tomosynthesis closes the gap between conventional 2D projection techniques (DR-DTS image comparison below) and sectional imaging systems (CT) in only one device at 20 times lower dose and significantly shorter examination time (< 10 sec.). .

Digital tomosynthesis with the X Twin RF enables the use of different scanning angles and the reconstruction of different finely resolved layer thicknesses between 1 and 10 mm, depending on the requirements for the imaging of different body regions (thorax, hip, knee, foot, ...). The start and end position can be adjusted according to the user's special needs to ensure the required image resolution of fine structures. The subsequent image reconstruction can be performed in different quality levels.
